Leave Dubai for a day trip to Abu Dhabi, the official and political capital of the UAE and the residence of its ruler.
After the sights of the capital, spend time at Yas Water World, the largest water theme park in Abu Dhabi. It lies next to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, on about 15 hectares in the heart of Yas Island, and has 43 rides, slides and attractions. Five of them are unique and were seen for the first time in a water park, such as the world's first and largest hydromagnetic water slide.

Pickup is between 08:00 and 08:30, when you meet your guide at your hotel.
Drive about 170 km south-west of Dubai to Abu Dhabi.
Your first stop is the grand mosque of Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. On its façade, see the classical and modern lines of traditional Islamic architecture and decoration. Inside, see the marble artwork and the woven, decorated carpets.
Continue to Al Husn Palace, also known as the house of documentation and research, as it holds a large store of the state's local documents.
Drive along the Corniche, past the capital's main landmarks, to the Emirates Palace hotel, one of the most luxurious hotels in Asia and the Middle East and a favourite place for royal weddings and celebrities. Stop there for photos.
Stop at one of the city's malls for some quick shopping.
For a water adventure, spend time at Yas Water World on Yas Island, next to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, with 43 rides, slides and attractions.
